USAeroteam, Inc
was founded in 1985 at Dayton, Ohio, by Suhas Kakde. It was established
to manufacture components for the aerospace industry and to complement
the automotive business of Tape Tech, Inc., acquired by Suhas Kakde in
that same year.
Today, USAeroteam has grown significantly, offering sophisticated
capabilities in design and assembly of engineered Ground Support Equipment,
precision machining, fabrication, and assembly of engineered products. This
base capability is supported by the expertise to perform program management
tailored to a Customer's specific requirements and quality standards. Our
engineering team, which comprises 15 per cent of the workforce, is
experienced in CNC programming, high temperature alloys fabrication,
JIT logistics and lean manufacturing.
USAeroteam was the first of 600 suppliers to receive
a "Life of the Engine Program" contract in April 1990, for a the
LM6000 jet engine, produced by GE Aircraft Engines. Over the years,
the company has achieved expertise in computerized control and tracking,
scheduling, project, lean, statistical process control, cost control,
capacity planning, and continuous improvement.
The company offers the skills and sensitivity to harness
technology and management power effectively and efficiently.
